Brand Identity and Visual Language

The Rileys & Co brand style guide and visual language were designed with the same core principles in mind – thoughtful design, elevated aesthetics and functionality. With the products themselves being quite detailed and vibrant, the branding employs clean graphic elements that contrast and balance with the product designs. Unlike traditional branding colour palettes, Rileys uses a flexible colour system a with set of grounding neutrals, and the flexibility to incorporate a colour from the product into the graphics, ensuring the visual language always complements and elevates the product. I worked closely with a talented branding designer to shape a brand that stands out in the market, is unique and inspires.

Rileys & Co photography is designed to inspire, capturing the beauty and thoughtful design that customers love in our products. As the dedicated product photographer for Rileys & Co, I aimed to showcase the products in environments where they truly shine. Soft lighting and intentional styling bring each item to life, creating a sense of elegance and aspiration, while helping customers visualise Rileys & Co products in their own space. Every detail is carefully captured to highlight the beauty and functionality that define Rileys & Co products.

The product that launched a category leading brand

The Riley & Co signature agenda, first introduced in 2022, quickly became a customer favourite. I worked closely with a talented designer to create an agenda that is not only aesthetic but designed for functionality. Featuring a minimalist design with an art deco influence, it resonated with consumers and set the stage for rapid expansion in the agenda line. The signature agenda now holds the #1 spot in the Agenda & Planners category on Amazon, surpassing legacy brands like Moleskine, Anecdote, and Bluesky and establishing Rileys & Co as a category leader. This success marked the beginning of the Rileys & Co journey!
